SHARE INTERNET USING MODEM by AD HOC IN WINDOWS 7

The tools are quite simple. Here we just need two laptops or more. Can we use PC?
Sure! as long as that PC is integrated with a wireless device ,why not.
So here there is one laptop will be the host because it will share the internet connection and the others we call them as the clients. And do you know AHA?? AHA is internet provider from Indonesia .
Okay Lets we start the configuration :
A.  In the Host Laptop (Connected to internet).
1.  Go to Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center .
2.  On the Network and Sharing Center, just click Change adapter settings.
3.  You will see your networking devices. There are LAN device, wireless device ,modem devices ,etc. So we will make a configuration in the device that connected to the internet. In this tutorial I use AHA modem to share the internet So just right click AHA device to start the configuration.
4. On your  AHA modem wizard, move to sharing tab  and mark on Allow others network users to connect through this  computer’s internet connection. If appear some information wizard. Just press OK. Then choose Wireless Network connection because we will share it by Ad hoc network. Then click setting to make you choose what services can be accessed by the clients.

click the picture to zoom in :

5.  Oke now we already shared the internet. Next step is Create an Ad hoc netwok. What is Ad hoc network and how to make and configure it. Just read my previous article :
http://idrispedia.blogspot.com/2011/10/create-ad-hoc-network-in-windows-7.html
6. After you created the Ad hoc network. We can continue to the next step. Now make sure the clients join your ad hoc network and already connected. Because you have to reestablish any TCP/IP connections between your host computer and the other network computers
7. This time make a configuration on your wireless device. the IP address is usually automatically configured.
But don’t worry if  it don’t be created automatically. We can create it manually. Follow this configuration:

8. And on the Client laptops. Just make a configuration like this:
Note :
If there are may clients. The clients must configure with the different IP Address to prevent the connection from IP Conflict. arena akan terjadi IP conflict.
and the last is the host DNS Server. Because you have to know that every internet providers has their own DNS Server configuration .
The question is How do I know the DNS server?.
Okay in Host Laptop, first press Windows+R  on your keyboard. It will appear Run window. Then type cmd . after you are in cmd / Command Prompt windowType ipconfig /all then  Enter.
Find the DNS Servers :.

There are two DNS servers. But if I use speedy connection. I just found one DNS Server. But there is no problem. If you found two. Fill it in  preffered and alternate. But if you found one. Just fiil in preffered DNS Servers.
8.a The last step. Back to the Client laptop. Now make the configuration like this :

And we are DONE.
Enjoy your Internet.

Note : ( I got it from widows help )

ICS and ad hoc networks

If you share your Internet connection on an ad hoc network, ICS will be disabled if:
·         You disconnect from the ad hoc network.
·         You create a new ad hoc network without disconnecting from the ad hoc network for which you enabled ICS.
·         You log off and then log back on (without disconnecting from the ad hoc network).

Thank you for read my article and Keep spirit.
